Merchandise Associate Job Description ProTek Recycling Incorporated is seeking an individual who can take refurbished electronics (laptops, monitors, computers, etc.
) from our computer technicians and list them on various selling platforms.
This person will also handle the shipping and packaging of sold products and other tasks described below.
The individual should be an efficient typist, be detail oriented, and have basic computer hardware knowledge.
Work
Summary:
Creating bulk product listings on various selling platforms.
Making listed items presentable, attractive, and ready for sale.
Taking photos of items - making sure to capture any blemishes so that our listings are reflected accurately.
Manage inventory.
Product investigation and price evaluation.
Packaging and shipping.
Customer service and support.
Other responsibilities as asked by management.
Availability:
Monday through Friday:
7AM to 3PM Preferred Background and Skills Experience with online selling platforms, especially eBay Familiarity with computers - hardware and software.
Preferred experience with processors and internal components.
Interest in technology & sustainability Experience with cameras or photography Looking for an individual who is energetic, bright, has a relaxed attitude, motivated, and dedicated to getting the job done.
Successful candidate will have organizational, multi-tasking, and detail-oriented skills.
Requirements:
Must have 2 or more years of experience with the Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
