Job Summary:
Fleet Mechanic is responsible for carrying out all corrective, preventative, and predictive maintenance on fleet vehicles to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of the fleet. You will be responsible for maintaining fleet vehicles in a safe working condition meeting DOT or other regulatory requirements.
Other Responsibilities include:
Ensure that all vehicles and drivers are properly licensed
Ensure that all preventative maintenance is performed when due
Ensure that all vehicles clean to enhance our image
Keep garage clean, safe and maintained in a safe orderly manner
Purchasing parts and monitor for best pricing and quality
Provide back up for a shuttle run, or route deliveries if needed

Qualifications
High School Diploma is required, and a two year degree from a technical school and equivalent experience is preferred
Must be 18 years of age
Must have a safe driving record
Qualified applicants should be able to perform all vehicle repairs, have diagnostic knowledge with GM drivability, and some diesel experience would be preferred
Must be willing to work overtime as needed and perform occasional road calls

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
