Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element):
Ability to do the work of an Electronic Industrial Controls Mechanic without more than normal supervision which includes (1) Apply expert knowledge of maintenance, testing and repair of various types of electronically controlled industrial equipment and/or machinery; (2) Independently work with circuits and basic logic circuits to power, timing, and motion controls; (3) Applied knowledge of electrical and electronic block diagrams, wiring diagrams and/or schematics in order to understand construction/operation of industrial controls and troubleshoot malfunctions; and (4) Selection and use of proper test equipment such as meggers, oscilloscopes, voltmeters.

Electronics PHYSICAL EFFORT:
Work assignments require light to moderate physical effort.
They work in a sitting position for extended periods.
Frequent standing, walking, bending, crouching, reaching and stooping is required.
Occasionally, climbing and work in high places is required.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work is usually performed inside in well lighted, heated, and ventilated areas.
Work is sometimes in high or restricted places, under conditions of heat or cold, and occasionally outside in inclement weather.
Employees are subject to injuries such as electric shock, cuts and bruises, as well as burns caused by electrical energy, or soldering irons.
