You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Specialized
Experience:
One year of specialized experience which includes (1) Performance of planning, estimating, and expediting the use of labor, machines, and/or materials for manufacturing operations; (2) Preventing or alleviating production delays, scheduling conflicts, the lack of sufficient materials, faulty processes, or labor shortages; (3) Experience in the manufacture, overhaul, or repair of products or projects using multiple process production methods and procedures; and (4) Instructing/leading others.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
